Sundown Radio 10: Strange Tides

While all of our playlists are a diverse group of genres and sounds, they all typically have one overall idea we try to convey. Sundown Radio 10 has a dark undertone. It is mysterious. It is confident. It is cool.

 

From the harsh vocals of "Spacegrass" by Clutch, to the lethargic march of "Slow Death" by Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, this is a playlist you listen to when you want to feel a little edgy.

 

While we love our warm surf guitar and ethereal vocals here at Sundown, we also love a heavy guitar and loud drums. We are very interested in the idea of duality, where on one hand we love to convey the warmth of Southern California, but we also love to contradict this with faded neutrals rooted in black and grey.

 

Sundown was created beacuse we love to wear black on black. We struggled because most of the clothes and accessories we could find were either too "grungey" or just not cool enough. So we set out to make a sophisicated brand with a hint of grunge. Sundown is never over designed, always effortless. Confident but not too serious.
