Sundown Radio 11: Reverberations

The first song added to this playlist was Emipre Ants by the Gorillaz featuring Little Dragon. I heard this song while I was at a party perched atop a cliff in Leucadia. It was around 4 p.m. on a beautiful sunny afternoon and I had a clear view of the perfect rolling waves.

 

The afternoon lighting was just right as it reflected off of the Pacific Ocean giving it that magic sparkle as the sun glistened off the water. Empire Ants was playing in the background and in that moment I was completely aware of being in the present.

 

I can so often get caught up thinking I am not working hard enough, but in moments where I become aware of being in the present, I am thankful for everything and realize that good things come to those who are patient. All you can do is your best, so there is no reason to stress about the things you can't control.
